About Acclivity

Acclivity is an 8-month mentorship programme designed to prepare high achieving B.A.M.E youth mentally, professionally and culturally for “life at the top”. The programme is focused on self-development and providing mentees with the hard-gained soft skills that are not provided within the realms of formal education but are necessary for them to fulfil their latent potential. Upskilling students to increase work readiness will be achieved by partnering students with mentors from our corporate partner MSCI.

Vision

In the programme’s pilot 10 high-achieving students from the borough of Bexley will be partnered with mentors from MSCI. They will complete our the “8 Steps” programme over the course of 8 months, receiving detailed feedback from their mentors and Genesis Impact throughout their journey.
Each mentor will set two meetings with their mentees a month and guide them through the 8 steps. The programme is not prescriptive and mentors are encouraged to personalise the programme in response to the needs of their mentee without deviating too far from the aims of the programme. Both parties will provide feedback for each other throughout the programme to maximise benefit and effectiveness.
